WHAT: Fort McAllister Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration.

Fort McAllister, a 1,724-acre Georgia state park and home to the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy, will host an Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration where living historians will demonstrate Civil War drills with musket firings. Visitors can tour the fort and museum, and join in on old-timey games.
