Celebrate the holiday season by hearing award-winning novelist George Dawes Green read "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote! Hot cider and holiday treats will be provided. This is an outdoor event; guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair and blankets to stay cozy.
This tradition was started in the parlor of the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home by Robert Strozier, one of the founding members of the foundation that now manages the home. Strozier was a professor at Armstrong State University. He passed away in April 2019, and FOCCH dedicates each year's reading to his memory.
George Dawes Green, founder of The Moth and Unchained, is an internationally celebrated author.
