“Stories in Stone: A Guided Tour of Laurel Grove South Cemetery”
Please join the City of Savannah Cemeteries Division for an afternoon of exploration throughout Laurel Grove South Cemetery as we discuss history, preservation, and restoration. This is a two-hour walking tour that will visit the graves of some of Savannah’s most influential African American citizens as we discuss the ongoing efforts to preserve this cultural landmark. Led by John Brannen, Acting Director of Cemetery Operations, the tour will begin at the Laurel Grove South Cemetery main entrance, 2101 Kollock Street, Savannah, GA 31415

* Session 2: Saturday, April 25, 2026, 12:00-2:00pm
