Get ready for an electrifying evening! Our celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary begins at 6:00pm on Saturday, July 4, 2026 – Independence Day. Plans include live music on three waterfront stages – Plant Riverside District, Rousakis Riverfront Plaza and The Park at Eastern Wharf. Enjoy 250th specials in our waterfront restaurants and shops. Plus we’re hosting a Most Patriotically Dressed Contest on Rousakis Riverfront Plaza!

At 9:30pm the skies will be lit up by a dazzling fireworks show, perfectly synched to patriotic tunes for the enjoyment of guests in Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, Plant Riverside District, Eastern Wharf, and the Savannah Convention Center. The approximately 20 minute spectacle is fired from a floating barge in the Savannah River. This event is free and open to all.

Event Schedule for Rousakis Riverfront Plaza:
6:00pm Most Patriotically Dressed Contest (check in between 5-5:45pm)
6:45pm Presentation of Colors by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia Color Guard & National Anthem
7:00pm 3rd Infantry Division Brass Band
8:00pm 3rd Infantry Division Rock Band
9:30pm Fireworks Show
