World Ocean Day

We’re celebrating World Ocean Day at the UGA Aquarium on Saturday, June 6! Dive into a full day of ocean-themed activities, including art projects, games and hands-on science. The UGA Aquarium will be open to visitors free of charge!

• Explore a new interactive sand table developed by Georgia Tech that uses data to show how our dunes and beaches change over time.
• Create friendship bracelets inspired by sea-level data.
• Connect with community partners tabling throughout the event!

Learn how scientists use NASA data to help coastal communities plan for the future, discover how small actions can make a big impact on ocean health, and take a pledge to protect our blue planet.
