Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum will transform into a magical Harry Potter-themed experience during “Frogwarts” on Sunday, October 16th from 11 am to 3 pm.
This year’s classes will include Wand Making, Potions, Fortune Telling, Defense Against the Dark Arts: Glow in the Dark Fun!, Care of Magical Creatures with Callaway Critters, Quill Writing, Herbology, Muggle Studies and Quidditch. Attendees can take a ride on our diesel locomotive, the Frogwarts Express or visit Ingotts Wizarding Bank.
Attendees can also visit the Owlery with Georgia Southern University’s Center for Wildlife Education and enjoy a musical selection from Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts’ Garrison Voices.
Some of our community partners will also be leading workshops, including Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital leading aromatherapy and Herbology activities, Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry sharing the art of Charms, The Lowcountry Turners
creating unique wooden wands, Savannah Square Pops will be on-site serving their delicious popsicles, and Pie Society will be serving up a Harry Potter-inspired menu from their food truck.
This event is $14 for all participants, ages eighteen months and up. Pre-registration is required at https://bit.ly/Frogwarts2022.
Coastal Heritage Society members receive access to early registration, a discounted ticket of $12, an express check-in line, and priority boarding for the Frogwarts Express train ride.
