Join us for our official Christmas Lighting Ceremony marking the official start of the holiday season, bringing the Savannah community together to enjoy the magic of twinkling lights and festive cheer by the Savannah River. The ceremony will feature the grand illumination of our Christmas tree in MLK Park, Jr. after a wonderful show with holiday songs and spirit by the Southeast Coast Gospel Choir under the direction of Delandrian Aikens, a reading of ‘T was the Night before Christmas by community leader Roger Moss, and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bring your families and friends to watch as the lights are switched on Plant Riverside District, transforming the surroundings into a holiday landscape.
