Get ready for an unforgettable fall at Ships in the Dark, the exclusive after-hours series at the Sea of Ink: Savannah Maritime Tattoos exhibition! Join us on the second Fridays of November and December from 5 pm to 8 pm for these exciting events:
November 8th: Rock out at our music-filled extravaganza headlined by Andrew Sovine, a musician, writer, and producer who has worked with grammy award-winning musician Ashley McBryde among others. A guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Andrew and his band will be playing an array of music to include sea shanties (traditional work songs for sailors) along with his own original music.

December 13th: Celebrate the season and the success of the exhibition with our festive holiday bash! Enjoy sweet treats, gift bags, and maybe even a visit from the Tattooed Santa. Cozy up with a hot toddy in a special Satchel Savannah koozie (weather permitting) and revel in the holiday spirit!

​Each event features a cash bar with specialty cocktails crafted by Savannah’s very own Ashley Simeone. Don’t miss out on these evenings of art, music, and celebration—tickets are just $10! Join us for one or all of the "Ships in the Dark" events and experience the museum like never before.
