Dolly shines as Miss Mona Stangley, the warmhearted proprietor of the Chicken Ranch, a beloved Texas institution where the good times have rolled for generations, until a meddling television crusader sets out to shut the operation down. What follows is good clean/dirty fun, packed with lively musical numbers, larger-than-life characters, irresistible chemistry between Parton and Reynolds, and Dolly’s unforgettable performance of “I Will Always Love You.” Come dressed in your sparkliest, fringiest, most rhinestone-covered Dolly best as we celebrate a one-of-a-kind entertainer whose humor, heart, generosity, and unmistakable sparkle made the world a brighter place.
