Come out and see some of the baddest rides The Low Country has to offer. Spend the day enjoying some great local food, vendors & music with great friends while helping us bring awareness & assistance to the 10th leading cause of death in our country. It’s that time of year to celebrate the official start of Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 21st from 12-8:30pm! Enjoy German-style beer releases, great music, beer brats, pretzels, lebkuchen cookies and limited edition souvenir beer steins handcrafted in Germany!

Our pals from Strangebird will be grilling their famous brats and slinging fresh baked pretzels.

Savannah Stopover Music Festival and The Park at Eastern Wharf are teaming up for the monthly Riverfront Concert Series! September's show is Thursday, 9/19 from 6-9 p.m. featuring Savannah's own The Intracoastal Playboys. The show is FREE and open to the public.

The Intracoastal Playboys have quickly become Savannah’s favorite classic country cover band, paying tribute to artists such as Buck Owens, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Paycheck, Dolly Parton and many more.

As always we'll have food trucks on site -details coming soon!
Plus, attendees can enjoy food and drinks from your Eastern Wharf favorites like Squirrel's Pizza, bar by fleeting and Honeysuckle Gelato.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. See The Park at Eastern Wharf's Website for park rules. There is street parking on site as well as parking in the Eastern Wharf garage for $2 per hour.

Continuing into the fall! Visit Savannah's most historic movie palace for a theater tour and demonstration of its original 1925 Wurlitzer theatre organ. In honor of the Mighty Wurlitzer's return to the Lucas Theatre for the Arts, visitors can explore the theater's storied past as they listen to the sounds of the organ and enjoy the SCAD-produced silent short film "At Long Last." After 3 years of educating over 300,000 students and visitors, our Marine Debris Ambassador Ike, is embarking on his greatest adventure to the Atlantic ocean. Join us in wishing Ike a long life in the ocean! No registration required.

Onlookers will line up behind a roped-off release lane off of the north beach center crossover to watch Ike make his ocean debut. The release will begin promptly at 8:00am, so arrive early to get a good spot.

After the release, we will have various activities going on at the center including half price Turtle Talks, Westie feedings, artifacts, turtle costume photo shoots, sea turtle trivia, and more!
