Plug began his standup career in Los Angeles in 2010. A few highlights of his career include being chosen by Superstar Kevin Hart to appear on the “Atlanta” episode of Comedy Central’s Hart of the City season one in 2016. That summer Plug was also a finalist in the ABFF Comedy Wings Competition sponsored by HBO. Plug recently was featured on “Stand Up Nashville” on the Circle TV Network and is scheduled for another tv appearance in the coming weeks. During his career, Plug has also opened for national headliners like Monique, Killer Beaz & Michelle Wolf.

Savannah Stopover Music Festival and The Park at Eastern Wharf are teaming up for the monthly Riverfront Concert Series! The show on Friday, September 11th from 7-10 pm features Cordovas and Savannah's own Little Gracie!

Cordovas are an Americana rock band out of Nashville whose sound, equal parts soulful harmony, poetic craft, and cosmic improvisation, has long earned comparisons to The Band, Grateful Dead, and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Little Gracie is a Southern Rock band hailing from Savannah, GA, taking influence from the 70’s to the 2000’s to create a classic sound and an electrifying performance with their music.
September's featured food trucks are: The Big Cheese, Latin Chicks, Mac Attack, Royal Tasty Avenue, and Rita’s Italian Ice.

Food and drinks will also be available for purchase to go from bar by fleeting at Thompson Savannah.

Join researchers from Georgia Southern’s Freshwater Ecology Lab for an exploration of the rich diversity of crayfish fauna found near Georgia’s coast and barrier islands. Learn about their life history, the ecological roles they play, and examine live and preserved specimens.

This session begins at the UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium on Skidaway Island. Graduate researcher Evan Wamhoff from Georgia Southern, will provide an overview of coastal Georgia’s crayfish species, and the importance of these small but mighty crustaceans. After the presentation, we’ll head out to a wetland habitat on the Skidaway Marine Science Campus for some hands-on field work using various techniques to survey crayfish that inhabit these ecosystems.

Registration is required for participants ages 3 and up and includes admission to the UGA Aquarium. Content is best suited for children ages 13 and up, but all ages are welcome. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Ever wondered what’s living just beneath your feet along Georgia’s docks? Explore a hidden world by stepping into the role of a marine scientist and investigating the invertebrate community living beneath floating docks along the Georgia coast. Participants will collect dock fouling organisms from the Skidaway River then use microscopes to examine the marine animals from our tidal waters. Sign up today for this hands‑on family adventure in marine science and discovery.

Cost: $15. Registration is required and includes admission to the UGA Aquarium. Ages 8 and older are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Closed toe shoes are needed for this event.

Visit Savannah's most historic movie palace for a theater tour and demonstration of its original 1925 Wurlitzer theatre organ. In honor of the Lucas Theatre's recent restoration, visitors can explore the theater's storied past as they listen to the sounds of the organ and enjoy the SCAD-produced silent short film 'At Long Last.' Tours begin at 11 a.m. and the organ demonstration starts at 11:30 a.m.

Meet at Colonial Monument Gardens inside Historic Bonaventure Cemetery. **Follow the Blue Event Signs.**

No ticket needed for this specific free tour series, donations are greatly appreciated.

There is no cost for parking in Bonaventure.

Bonaventure Historical Society offers free guided tours on the first full weekend of every month. Our tours begin at 2 PM on both Saturday and Sunday at the Colonial Monument Garden inside Bonaventure Cemetery. These walking tours take about an hour and are hosted by trained BHS tour guides.

There is a limit of 30 visitors per guide. If more people show up, we divide those in attendance into smaller groups.

Tours are rain or shine, only canceled if storming.

With the lush Irish countryside as a backdrop, Green-Meldrim House Director Jamie Credle will unravel the complicated stories of the remarkable survival of Ireland's castles and manor houses, surrounded by their parklands and estates. She will also unveil another intriguing part of the story - that of the efforts put forth by a determined group of tenacious men and women, who are the protectors of these historic treasures.
