Where: Fort McAllister State Historic Park
Our premier event, the annual Candle Lantern Tour, is returning! It is so popular, that we have added a second night this year. On Friday, October 15th or Saturday, October 16th, experience an entertaining and historical trip through time led by candlelight, with friendly tour guides, soldiers, and other living history actors portraying civilians, patients, a mysterious black cat, and more. Witness the only Fort McAllister night-time cannon firing available to the public.
Tours will begin at 6:30 pm and run every 30 minutes until 10 pm. When registering, you will select a time slot available.
Space is limited and spots sell out quickly. Call the park office at 912-727-2339 or drop in at 3894 Fort McAllister Road in Richmond Hill. Tickets are not available for purchase online.
Cost: $25 per person (kids under 2 are free)
