ANNIE is one of the world’s most beloved musicals, based on a beloved comic strip from over 100 years ago, and is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical! The show features some of the most iconic songs to ever grace the stage and screen, including “Tomorrow”, “Hard Knock Life”, and “Easy Street”.

Set in 1930’s New York City, Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her on the doorstep of the orphanage that is run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to find herself giving hope to the poorest of NYC, saving a lovable mutt named Sandy, befriending Grace Farrell, who is the personal secretary of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, who promises to enlist the help of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to help find her parents!

Starring Savannah favorites, F. Michael Zaller, Laura Wild, Matt Meece, and introducing Molly Feldman and Maryn Meece as Annie (alternating casts), this is a heart warming and family friendly way to enjoy a classic musical!

Directed by Shannon Zaller
Choreographed by Madeline Kelso
Music Directed by Michelle Turley

Disney Summer Classics: The Emperor's New Groove

Disney Summer Classics: The Emperor's New Groove

A madcap marvel of animated anarchy, "The Emperor’s New Groove" is one of Disney’s most delightfully offbeat creations—a zippy, zigzagging buddy comedy that trades fairy tale earnestness for pure comedic chaos. When vain and self-centered Emperor Kuzco (David Spade) is transformed into a llama by his power-hungry advisor Yzma (Eartha Kitt), he’s forced to team up with kind-hearted peasant Pacha (John Goodman) to regain his throne—and maybe learn a little humility along the way. Packed with meta gags, fourth-wall breaks, and absurdist flair, this laugh-a-minute romp has become a cult classic for its irreverent tone, rapid-fire humor, and lovable oddball characters. "The Emperor’s New Groove: is a rare animated gem that keeps finding new groove-loving fans with every generation.

Tickets for the film are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military; and $8 for the general public. Children ages 12 and under receive free admission.

Murdered by the Millennium

Savannah Cabaret’s “Murdered By” series is coming back August 21-24, 2025 with an all-new murderously musical revue entitled “Murdered by the Millennium.”

It’s the 1990s and six “friends” hang out at a local coffee shop called “Central Lurk.” But no one told them life was gonna end this way!

During the first act, you’ll meet all the characters and hear them sing some of the biggest hits of the 1990s. Then at intermission, the audience gets to vote to decide who the killer is, who gets killed, and how they get killed. Then we change the second act based on what the audience has chosen! It’s always a wild, unpredictable night of fun where almost anything can happen.

Tickets will go on sale this summer and these shows always sell out. To be the first to hear when they will be available, join our email list on SavannahCabaret.com

NOTE: “Murdered by the Millennium” contains adult language, simulated violence, and scantily dressed actors making fools of themselves. Guests must be 21 years of age or older at all performances and the show is for immaturely mature audiences only. Please be aware the theater is on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs; no elevator is available.

Flannery O'Connor Centennial: Wise Blood
Aug

7:00 PM19:00

Flannery O'Connor Centennial: Wise Blood

n this acclaimed adaptation of the first novel by legendary Southern writer and Savannah native Flannery O’Connor, the brilliant and fearless filmmaker John Huston ("The Maltese Falcon") vividly brings to life her poetic, off-kilter world of American eccentricity. Brad Dourif delivers a riveting performance as Hazel Motes, a war veteran determined to found the Church Without Christ in the small Southern town of Taulkinham. Populated with unforgettable characters and inspired performances that feel as if they’ve leapt straight from O’Connor’s pages, "Wise Blood" is a darkly comic and incisive portrait of spirituality, fanaticism, and the search for meaning in a fractured world.

This special screening is co-presented by the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home in celebration of O’Connor’s centennial year and will feature a post-film conversation with producer and Savannah native Stratton Leopold, who worked on the film. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home.

Tickets for the film are FREE for SCAD Card holders; $7 for students, seniors, and military; and $10 for the general public.

Disney Summer Classics: The Parent Trap (1961)

Before Lindsay Lohan charmed a new generation, the ever-endearing Hayley Mills delivered the definitive double performance in "The Parent Trap," a warm, witty family classic that has lost none of its magic. Mills plays identical twins, Susan and Sharon, who were separated at birth and raised on opposites coasts only to meet at summer camp and then hatch a plan to bring their estranged parents back together. Directed with breezy sophistication and bolstered by a sparkling cast featuring Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith, this Disney favorite is a delightful mix of wholesomeness and clever farce. Seamlessly executed split-screen effects and sharp dialogue help make it an enduring gem of family cinema that still gets us all saying, “Let’s get together—yeah, yeah, yeah.”
