Four Legends. One Night. Music History Made.

The Savannah Theatre proudly presents this hit show that tells the story of when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together for the most incredible jam session in music history. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life when these young artists were on the cusp of becoming superstars. It’s an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. These four legends bring down the house with hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog” and “I Walk the Line.”

You’ll experience the highs and lows of these four legends as they navigate the intricacies of fame, and the personal price they pay to live the dream.

Evoking the honorees’ unapologetic strength and grace, Etched in History unites us all in imagining an inclusive future in which our women leaders freely thrive in glory and acclaim. Envisioned by SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace, the Savannah Women of Vision investiture is bestowed on accomplished women of peerless valor, altruism, and intellect who have made an invaluable impact in the Savannah community and across the U.S. Commissioned portraits commemorate this elite cadre of women whose remarkable ideas, insightful leadership, and distinguished service weave a legacy that forms the fabric of our community.

SCAD invites Savannah community members to a screening of Etched in History and a special opportunity to view the gilded portraits that honor the Savannah Women of Vision in the university’s Arnold Hall.

Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade

Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade

Savannah Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

The public observance of St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah traces its roots back to the year 1824. On March 16th of that year, a notice from the Hibernian Society was published in the local paper, The Georgian, inviting the citizens of Savannah to join them for a discourse at the Roman Catholic Church on the Feast of St. Patrick the following day. The notice also called for the members of the Society to be punctual in their attendance at a 10:00 AM meeting, in order to conduct the business at hand, prior to moving in procession to the church. This is the first documented invitation to the general public regarding the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah.

While the 1824 festivities are recognized as the first public observance to which the current iteration of the Parade can be traced, it is documented that two private processions took place in Savannah prior to that year. The first occurred in 1813, when the members of the Hibernian Society (est. 1812) marched in procession to the Independent Presbyterian Church. The second was a private parade held in 1818 by a local military group known as the Fencibles.

Today, approximately 280 units – bands, families, societies, soldiers, public servants and commercial floats – wind through the streets of Historic Downtown Savannah every March 17th, making our St. Patrick’s Day Parade one of the largest and most recognized in the world!

Luck, Legends, & Local Spirits!
Savannah’s Official St. Paddy’s Kick-Off: March 13th – 17th

Use code LUCKY15 for 15% off!!

This year, the luck of the Irish meets the chills of Friday the 13th! Join us for a five-night supernatural celebration through the "City Built on Its Dead." Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly stroll or a bone-chilling encounter, we have a spot on the lantern-led path just for you.

Your Guides to the Afterlife

Join Captain Jack the Pirate Prince, Otto the Odd Fellow, and Lady Ravenwood. They’ll be trading tales of true history, myths, and legends while keeping a sharp eye out for leprechauns (and things that go bump in the night).

Choose Your Fate (Tour Times)

We have three distinct ways to experience the hauntings:

7:00 PM | The Family Kick-Off (All Ages): Perfect for all seekers of history and haunts. Bring the whole clan!

8:00 PM | Prime Time Haunt (16+): A deeper dive into the infamous shadows of Savannah.

9:30 PM | The Darkest Hour (16+): Our most intense, uncut tour for those who aren't afraid of the dark.

Know Before You Go

WHEN: Friday, March 13th (Friday the 13th!) through Tuesday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day!)

WHERE: Meet at CLARY'S CAFE, 404 Abercorn Street.

DRESS CODE: Ha, there's no dress code, but we encourage you to Wear GREEN to be SEEN! (It helps the ghosts spot you... and keeps the leprechauns at bay).
